For most aluminum LED channels, the standard length is 2 meters per piece, with a maximum of 6 meters. But for longer projects or corner installations, it will be a problem. Then we will need the LED channel joiners for longer runs or angled connections.

There are three types of LED channel joiners available: 180°, 90°, and 90° vertical. You can use the 180° to connect the straight ones for longer runs. 90° and 90° vertical for horizontal or vertical corner connections. Let’s teach you how to install them today.

Today, let us show you how to connect two pieces of white SK1270 plaster-in LED baseboards using the 180° connectors.
- You will need to prepare the 180° joiners, a screwdriver, and screws.
- Then screw in the screws into the joiners. Please ensure the screws do not go beyond the screw hole to facilitate easy insertion into the LED channels.
- Insert into the LED channels.
- Use the screwdriver to tighten the screws.
- Installation complete.
Follow those steps, and you could connect two pieces of standard aluminum LED profiles for long runs without a gap. For the corner installation, you only need to miter the ends of both channels to 45°, then follow the steps above and splice them together as the picture shows below:
