When you choose the different LED Lights, you will find some LED Lights that mark the CRI value, 80Ra, 85Ra or 90Ra, so the question is, what is CRI? how to choose the right one?

CRI is the abbreviation of the color rending index, the high CRI value will make the subject more natural. if use the high CRI LED Lights that makes the subject outstanding in color and features of materials, perfectly reflecting the colors of subject and the human beings. it’s an ideal lighting solution for stores that sell fruits or foods.

Ra is the average from R1 to R8, we should not only take attention to average Ra but also on the situation red special R9 and the average Ra(9-12) of red, yellow, green, blue when designing high CRI LED studies have found that there is a gap between the RA and the visual evaluation for the color of the white LED, the color fo the white LED with the lower Ra maybe looks beautiful, the color of the white LED with the higher Ra will look ugly. it can bed ensured the high CRI of white LED when Ra and R9 are both on high value.

R9 refers to a saturated red, with a wavelength of 650nm when the R9<0, the red light is not enough, the red serious distortion, so the lamp can not render in the red color naturally, the number bigger the conductibility of the red light is better, whatever, the R9 bigger, the effect on irradiation in fruit and flowers better, they are more bright-colored, especially, the product is used for commercial lighting, the R9 can not be negative.

If you are searching the LED Strips on the internet, you will find some LED Lights named COB LED Strips, so what’s COB and why we say it’s the future of LED Strips.

What is COB?

COB is the abbreviation for chip on board, which means the LED Chips were packed on the PCB board directly, not like the SMD LEDs that the LED Chips were fixed on the brackets. the COB refers to the mounting of a bare LED Chip in direct contact with a substrate to produce LED arrays, which allows for a much higher packing density of the LED array, results in higher intensity and greater uniformity of light, no light dots and dark area. can greatly reduce the footprint and energy consumption while keeping light output constant.

the IP rating(waterproof level) of the Waterproof LED Profile is IP67, what the IP67 mean?
