The Addressable LED Strips, also called Smart or Digital LED Strips, have built-in or external ICs that control each LED individually or in groups to create dynamic color patterns, animations, and custom lighting effects. Unlike the regular color-changing LED strips, the addressable ones allow you to make moving rainbows, chasing effects, and pixel art designs. You can create various lighting effects on different parts simultaneously or in intervals. You can use them to add colorful ambient lighting indoors and outdoors.
The LEDs are controlled by built-in or external ICs (e.g., WS2812B, WS2815, WS2805). The LED strips use a serial communication protocol, such as 1-wire (WS2812B) or 2-wire (WS2815). A Pixel LED controller (SP105E, K1000C) sends coded signals to set the colors of each LED.
Individual & Group Control: Set unique colors, modes, or brightness for each LED or a group of LEDs.
Smooth Animations: Create chasing, fading, gradient, raindrop, flow water, jump flash, and gradient effects.
Wide Color Range: They support 16.7 million (24-bit RGB ) colors.
Custom room lighting: Decorative lighting, smart home setups
Gaming PC/RGB setups
Stage & even lighting
Art installation & interactive displays

Many types of programmable LED Strips are available, including WS2812B, SK6812, WS2815, WS2811, WS2813, WS2814, and SK9822.
We sell the DC5V, DC12V, and DC24V products.
3) What waterproof-level products are available?
There are IP20 non-waterproof and IP65 waterproof options for indoor use. IP67 silicone tube and IP68 injection-molded waterproof for outdoor use.
They are come with 30LEDs/M, 60LEDs/M, 96LEDs/M, 100LEDs/M, 144LEDs/M, 160LEDs/M for SMD versions. You can choose the high-density LED chips up to 720 pieces per meter for the COB versions.
5) What colors of PCB boards are available?
For some Strip Lights, black-and-white PCB boards are available.
6) Can I cut them to my desired length?
Yes, you can cut them to any size you want from the cutting points.
7) How do you choose the Controllers for LED Strips with ICs?
For small lighting projects, you can choose the basic Dream Color LED Controllers, such as SP105E, SP110E, SP106E, SP107E, and SP108E, to control small quantities of Strip Lights. Those SPI controllers can be controlled remotely using a remote control or a mobile phone connected via WiFi or Bluetooth. They are suitable for home environments, easy to install and use, and feature built-in lighting patterns to meet your needs.
For Commercial lighting projects, many Strip Lights need to work simultaneously. You will need large and complex Digital Controllers to control them. We will recommend choosing the K1000C, K4000C, T790K, T1000S, T300K, K8000C, etc.
8) How do you choose the Power Supplies?
Because most addressable strip lights operate at constant voltage, we recommend Power Supplies with 5V DC, 12V DC, and 24V DC output. There are non-waterproof Power Supplies for indoor use and Waterproof Power Supplies for outdoor use.
