The COB LED strip lights utilize the latest chip on board LED technology, which enables the direct mounting of more LED chips onto the PCB board, resulting in a smooth, uniform light output without visible dots or hotspots. The standard length is 16.4 feet per roll and can be cut to any size to meet your needs. We stock a variety of products, ranging from 3.7V to 24V DC, with widths from 2mm to 30mm. You can take the colors for your projects. We offer single-color, dual-white, RGB, RGBW, RGB+CCT, and addressable options. We recommend using our aluminum LED profiles to conceal LED strips and achieve uniform, even lighting in your space.

What does COB mean?

COB is the abbreviation of Chip On Board, the LED Chips in direct contact with a substrate to produce LED arrays on the flexible PCB boards. The new technology enables a significantly higher packing density of LED arrays, resulting in increased light intensity and greater light uniformity. It can significantly reduce the footprint and energy consumption while maintaining a constant light output.

Yes, you can cut them from the copper points. For some extremely narrow products ( 2mm, 2.7mm), you will need to expose the copper pads by removing the double-sided adhesive tape. Then you can use our solderless COB LED connectors to connect them to controllers or drivers.
