The waterproof series Light Channels are designed to provide a safe and secure way to mount LED Strip Lights in wet conditions. These Channels allow for the easy installation of LED Lights in areas subject to moisture, such as bathrooms, showers, and outdoor settings. The Waterproof Channels are waterproof and rust-resistant, helping protect the lights from the elements and ensuring they last longer. They are in various sizes, making them ideal for any space, large or small.

What are waterproof LED light channels?

The waterproof LED channels protect LED strip lights from moisture, making them ideal for outdoor, bathroom, or poolside installations. These channels are entirely enclosed and sealed, providing maximum protection against water. They are usually made of aluminum with a tightly fitted diffuser or a silicone casing. After adding the bare LED strips and sealing the ends with silicone glue, the waterproof level will reach IP67, protecting the light channels against raindrops or water.

Applications:

Decoration lighting: You can add color-changing LED strips inside as light source and use them for decoration lighting for outdoor projects.

Outdoor stair lighting: They are ideal for lighting up outdoor staircases, decks, and walkways.

Pool and spa lighting: Suitable for underwater installations or areas with high humidity.

Material: 

Silicone: Silicone is the main material used for waterproofing LED channels. It ensures the strip lights are protected from moisture and raindrops and diffuses the light evenly. The max length can be 50M or 100M per roll. You can use it for indoor and outdoor lighting that needs waterproofing and long runs. Silicone is flexible and bendable; you can use it on curved surfaces and bend it for designs.

Aluminum: The waterproof LED channels that will be added to the floors, steps, or staircases are made of solid 6063-T5 aluminum, which is not only waterproof but also safe for walking on. Its durability and excellent heat dissipation allow the LED lights to have a longer lifespan.

What emitting color of light strips can I use?

You can use color light strips: single-color, dual-white, RGB, RGBW, RGB+CCT, and addressable. But first, please ensure you can insert them into the silicone channels. Second, the sealed tubes are not good for heat dissipation, so check the maximum allowed output power of the waterproof channels before you order.
