The knife-edge plaster-in aluminium profiles can be seamlessly blended into 1/2" plasterboard on dropped ceilings for a clean and minimalist look. They will accommodate and hide the LED strips, directing the light upwards for a soft, glare-free glow. Ideal for modern cove lighting that enhances architectural depth and ambiance. The knife edge LED profiles are made of 6063-T5 aluminum alloy material with a white powder-coated finish, providing anti-oxidation resistance, durability, and long-lasting protection, which helps ensure the LED strips are secure and protected from damage. The standard lengths are 1 m and 2 m, and they can be easily cut to any size. Only one type of diffuser is available: PC diffused covers, made of brand-stable material and anti-yellowing. It helps to diffuse the light, providing a soft, even glow. The diffuser features a clip-in design, making it easy to install and maintain. The inner width is 13.3 mm, allowing for a maximum strip light width of 13 mm. We recommend using high-density COB strip lights as the light source, as they produce a uniform light without visible light dots. The aluminum profiles can serve as heat sinks, improving heat dissipation and extending the lifespan of the LED lights. Three types of LED channel joiners are sold separately: 90°, 90° vertical, and 180° for angled or straight connections. The end caps are included.
