The edge-lit LED channels are designed for glass/acrylic boards; they are easy to mount onto the edge of transparent or frosted panels for a sleek, modern lighting effect. These slim LED profiles offer a clean, secure fit for glass or acrylic panels 6mm or 8mm thick, allowing light to diffuse beautifully through the panel edge and create a glowing, ambient border. Ideal for decorative glass partitions, shelving, signage, and display cases. The edge LED profiles are made of 6063-T5 aluminum alloy with anodized surfaces, providing oxidation resistance and a longer lifespan. The inner width is 11 mm, allowing a maximum width of 11 mm for the LED strips. We recommend using high-density COB tape lights as the light source to create uniform lighting, with no light spots or dark areas. The standard lengths are 1 m and 2 m, and can be cut to any size for your project. There is only one type of diffuser available: the PC diffused cover, made of a brand-stable material that helps diffuse light and protect the LED tapes from dust and dirt. End caps with and without wire holes are included.
