The mud-in LED channels are designed to seamlessly integrate into 5/8" gypsum boards without visible edges for a minimalist and clean finish. They feature an indirect lighting design that evenly distributes light for cozy illumination. The regressed cover design allows the diffusers to be installed slightly behind the edge of the LED profiles, thereby concealing the light source and reducing glare. They can integrate seamlessly into ceilings or walls, creating invisible indirect lighting for cove, perimeter, or baseboard applications. Perfect for architects and contractors seeking a clean, modern aesthetic.
The plasterboard LED profiles are made from 6063-T5 constructed aluminum alloy with a white-coated finish for anti-oxidation and extended lifespan. The standard lengths are 1m and 2m, and custom lengths are supported. The inner width is 13.9 mm, allowing a maximum of 12 mm for LED strips. We recommend adding our 10mm COB LED strips to achieve even illumination without visible spots. The aluminum channels can act as heat sinks, improving heat dissipation and prolonging LED longevity. There is one type of diffuser available: PC diffused covers, made of brand material and anti-yellowing, which helps diffuse the lighting evenly. Three types of LED channel connectors are available: 90°, 90° vertical, and 180°. You can use them for both straight and angled connections. End caps with and without wire holes are included.
